NEW DESIGN PROJECT
SKYE VIEW
Tucked into the foothills of North Scottsdale, Skye View blends bold architecture with intentional, livable design. In collaboration with Camelot Homes, our team at Guided Home Design was brought in to furnish and style each home, layering in warmth, texture, and personality to match the striking natural landscape just outside the windows. From sculptural forms to curated details, every room tells a story of refined desert living. Here’s a closer look at how we brought these interiors to life with furniture and decor that feel effortless, elevated, and grounded in place.
THE LIVING ROOM
The entryway living room at Skye View sets the tone with its quiet strength and simplicity. A deep brown console table anchors the space, styled with sculptural ceramics and minimalist accents that echo the home's earthy palette. Just beyond, our most-loved Cape Cod Coffee Table, crafted from solid wood with clean lines and a timeless silhouette, grounds the room with warmth and natural texture.
Above the console, a bold statement art piece adds contrast and structure, its graphic black-and-cream composition drawing the eye while tying together the natural textures that define this home. It’s a space that feels both curated and calm, inviting you to pause before moving further in.

THE GREAT ROOM
The great room at Skye View is where livable luxury meets desert drama. Centered around a stunning stone fireplace, the space feels both expansive and inviting. A layered mix of neutral upholstery, wood-toned accents, and sculptural decor pieces creates a sense of softness and cohesion. We styled the space with plush seating and low-profile armchairs to encourage conversation, all arranged around a generously scaled coffee table topped with curated books, vessels, and organic textures. With retractable glass doors that open fully to the patio and mountain views beyond, the great room seamlessly blurs the line between indoor and outdoor living, grounded in warmth, and made for gathering.
Along the back of the sectional, a vintage waterfall console in light wood brings warmth, texture, and a subtle sculptural element to the space. Its clean lines and curved silhouette balance the softness of the upholstery while adding depth and dimension to the room. Styled with stacked books, taper candles, and organic decor, it acts as both a visual anchor and a functional surface.

THE KITCHEN
This kitchen strikes the perfect balance between bold and minimal. With sleek white cabinetry, marble backsplash, and a waterfall island that feels sculptural yet streamlined, every detail was thoughtfully designed to elevate the everyday. Brass accents, seen in the modern pendant lighting and faucet, add a warm glow, while integrated wood-paneled appliances and reeded lower cabinetry bring in texture and depth. From the clean lines to the layered materials, it’s a space that feels equal parts polished and welcoming.

THE BAR
This bar is where clean lines meet cozy conversation. We styled the space with sculptural counter stools in warm wood and blackened metal, grounding the soft, tonal palette with a dose of contrast and craftsmanship. Above, a cluster of pendant lights creates a focal point, while the layered textures in the seating and millwork add depth without disrupting the calm. It’s a space made for gathering—morning coffee, evening cocktails, and everything in between.

HOME OFFICE
This home office balances modern edge with natural warmth. A light wood desk with bold black framing sets a sculptural tone, grounded by soft textures like the white shearling chairs that invite you to settle in. Every detail, from the curved credenza to the abstract art, feels intentional yet effortless. With layered materials, organic accents, and a view of the desert just outside, it’s a space designed to feel inspiring, collected, and calm—exactly how working from home should feel.

PRIMARY SUITE
The primary suite at Skye View is designed to feel like a retreat. In the bedroom, layered neutrals and soft textures create a calming, cocoon-like atmosphere—complete with an upholstered bed, warm wood dresser, and sculptural accents that feel both timeless and intentional. The ensuite bath continues the story with tonal stone, warm brass fixtures, and organic veining that adds quiet drama to the shower and tub area. Every detail, from the serene palette to the mix of natural materials, was chosen to evoke a sense of ease, softness, and everyday luxury.

OUTDOOR
The outdoor spaces at Skye View are all about seamless desert living, designed to extend the beauty and comfort of the interiors into the open air. Framed by clean architectural lines and desert views, each patio and courtyard is outfitted for lounging, dining, and unwinding. From the cozy seating area beside the outdoor fireplace to the poolside loungers and shaded dining setup, every zone invites connection and calm. Layered landscaping softens the modern lines, while fire features and natural textures warm up the minimalist palette. It’s indoor-outdoor living, elevated—designed for golden hour hangs and slow mornings alike.
