When Arielle came to us to ask for help designing her backyard oasis for her new LA home, we were instantly inspired. After years of living in a mid-century style home, Arielle and her fiancé, Matt, wanted something different, focusing on more transitional pieces that flowed with their new interior decor and furniture.
Our owner and Director of Interior Design, Kristen Hancock, got on a call with Arielle to help her vision come to life. After a few design boards and discussions, we created the perfect, outdoor oasis for Arielle's poolside lounge and dining space. These pieces feature a fresh, timeless look with a variety of textures and warm woods.
This dreamy space is the perfect spot for Arielle and Matt to enjoy and entertain throughout every season. Check out our newest collection, Arielle x StyleMe.
The Poolside Lounge
Relax and unwind in this poolside lounge, featuring our Merit Chaise and our Gem Outdoor Table. By combining this warm wood lounge chair with a white end table, this space is bright, inviting, and comfortable. Our StyleMe exclusive beach umbrellas were installed here to offer the perfect amount of shade while creating interest with a pop of fringe.
Since Arielle is a lover of eclectic style and materials like terracotta and wood, we incorporated this in every element of her outdoor space. We added terracotta pots for her plants, and sourced one-of-a-kind vintage serving accessories so that Arielle and Matt could truly live and entertain in their backyard while maintaining their unique style.
The Outdoor Dining Area
For Arielle and Matt's outdoor dining area, we styled it with our Merit Outdoor Dining Table, featuring the perfect amount of rattan. Paired with our wicker dining chairs, this created a cohesive and organic dining space that comfortably sits up to eight guests.
To optimize space, we installed our Merit Outdoor Sideboard, allowing Arielle and Matt to store all of their serving accessories, beach towels, and more in an organized, stylistic way.
On top of the outdoor sideboard, we continued to use terracotta pots and bowls to truly tie the entire backyard together. We used a dark, dried eucalyptus to seamlessly flow with the exterior paint of their home.
Finally, to finish this dreamy outdoor oasis, we incorporated more vintage serving accessories. Arielle had told us that one of her favorite activities was finding unique, vintage pieces in local thrift shops. We incorporated as many vintage pieces as possible to really elevate and differentiate this space.
Arielle and Matt, we had an amazing time helping your outdoor dreams come to life! We can't wait for all of you to see this beautiful collection, sold at StyleMeGHD.com.
