Maison Viola

Maison Viola

Maison Viola is rooted in material. The designers at Guided Home Design centered this project around bold, sculptural stone, letting veining, texture, and tone carry the narrative of this home. The furniture and collected pieces ground the home in the best way. Sculptural seating, warm woods, and soft layers bring an intentional, inviting feel.

The Kitchen

The kitchen sets the tone immediately. Bold, sculptural stools line the island, warm wood bases paired with textured seats that feel equal parts art piece and everyday essential. The reeded detailing beneath the island adds subtle dimension, giving the stone something to play against instead of competing with it.
Finally, there’s the Fior Di Viola stone, dramatic, fluid, unapologetically wrapping the countertops and backsplash in movement that feels almost painterly. Brass accents throughout, from the faucet to the lighting, soften the contrast and pull everything into that golden, lived-in warmth. It’s statement-making, but still completely usable.

The Dining Room

The dining area continues the conversation in texture and tone. A substantial concrete dining table anchors the space with a quiet heaviness, clean, minimal, and grounding without feeling cold. Surrounding it, woven chairs add that natural softness, bringing in warmth and subtle pattern. At each end, upholstered armchairs elevate the setting, offering a more relaxed, lounge-like moment that makes long dinners feel easy. The mix feels effortless. Structured never stiff, balancing raw material with comfort in a way that feels intentional, not overly designed.

The Living Room

The living room leans into warmth in a way that feels effortless. Light wood and leather recliners bring that clean and collected ease, structured but relaxed, tailored but still sink-in comfortable. The concrete coffee table ground the seating area with a subtle, organic weight, their raw finish balancing the softness around them. Brown ottomans add depth and that cozy layer you don’t realize you need until you see it. Overhead, a rattan cane chandelier ties everything together. Adding just enough drama without disrupting the calm.

The Powder Bath

The powder bath takes a completely different turn, moodier, deeper, a little unexpected. Dark Roman Clay walls wrap the space in a velvety finish that feels intimate and dramatic without being harsh. The Viola stone carries through at the vanity, its movement popping against the inky backdrop. Brass sconces add warmth and contrast in just the right way. And that chain fringe sconce? It’s the moment. Sculptural, textural, slightly edgy, the kind of detail that makes a small space feel unforgettable.

The Primary Suite

The primary suite feels soft in all the right ways. A linen upholstered bed anchors the room, layered with tonal bedding that keeps everything calm & understated. Roman Clay walls add depth without distraction, that matte, velvety finish that makes the whole space feel warm. At the foot of the bed, a pair of curved accent chairs create an easy sitting moment, grounded by a marble end table that brings in just enough structure. It’s quiet, cohesive, and intentionally simple. The kind of space that instantly relaxes you.
The primary bath carries that same softness but with a little more presence. Arabescato marble brings in movement without overwhelming the space: classic veining, light but expressive, layered against warm wood cabinetry and brushed brass fixtures. The stone feels elevated but not flashy, especially paired with the subtle texture of the surrounding finishes. It’s refined in a way that doesn’t try to prove anything, just timeless, clean, and quietly beautiful.
