FALL TABLE DECOR
1. BASE LAYER
If you don't love your tabletop, cover with a neutral tablecloth. We love the natural wood of our Brooklyn Dining Table so we went with just a charger to add some decor around the plates. Our Jody Placemat works for fall, summer and spring too! We love how versatile these are.
2. DINNERWARE
Next you have your dinner and flatware. We love layering the two different sizes for some dimension to the table. Its also great to have a side plate for an hors d'oeuvre or salad. If soup is on the menu, you can replace the small plate for a bowl. Our Gibson Plate makes these easy, as it already comes in the varied sizes. These are perfect for an elegant dining in meal or even just an everyday plate.
3. BOTANICALS
This is a fun way to add some texture to the table decor. These natural elements truly make the table unique and is super cost effective. We love this white fern leaf with the natural palette we chose for this set up. There are so many other botanicals to choose from like eucalyptus, foxtail, rosemary and florals.
4. CANDLES
A table isnt complete without the perfect ligting. Candles are the best way to set the mood. The flicker of the lights is relaxing and adds a sense of warmth in the cooler seasons. We love these Dipped Taper Candles that come in the prettiest colors.
5. VINTAGE ACCENTS
These are the pieces that make your table personal to you. They are one of a kind and can be a great conversation starter. If it's the pottery or lace runner while traveling, they tell a story. Our new vintage stoneware does just that.
